Punto Banco Regulations and Scheme

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Principles

Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at their printed number while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the total of the cards, although the 1st digit is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a value of 1 (5 plus six = 11; ignore the initial ‘one’).

A third card could be given using the following rules:

- If the player or bank achieves a total of 8 or 9, the two players stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler holds, the bank hits on five or less. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to see if the house holds or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the house payout 19:20 (even payout less a five percent rake. Commission are recorded and paid off once you leave the table so make sure you have cash around before you head out). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie usually pays 8:1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen less than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Gambled on properly punto banco offers fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has a few general myths. One of which is similar to a absurdity in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future events. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.

The most established and almost certainly the most acknowledged course of action is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This tactic is used to pump up earnings and minimizing risk.

Start by betting 1 dollar. If you win, add another to the two on the game table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold six on the table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. If you come away with a win on the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first round followed by a loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a hit on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all 4 wagers gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you can give up the 2nd wager 5 instances for every successful run of 4 wagers and in the end, break even.
