Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards with less than a value of 10 are valued at face value and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they purely act as the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will now be played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for any hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of seven and five produces a value of two (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card might be given depending on the foll. regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of 8 or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the gambler hits, a chart might be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even odds less a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have cash still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie usually pay out 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to one. (This is a terrible gamble as ties happen less than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are noticeably better – nine to 1 vs. eight to 1)

When played accurately, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is never actually an indicator of future happenings. Keeping track of prior outcomes on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful method is the one-3-two-six concept. This scheme is deployed to amplify earnings and limiting risk.

commence by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a value of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
