Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than ten are valued at their printed value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they strictly depict the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand will be the total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven … 5 results in a total score of 2 (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be given depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the player or banker has a total score of eight or nine, each players stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful stakes on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have dollars remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie by and large pay eight to one and on occasion 9 to one. (This is a bad gamble as ties will happen less than one every 10 hands. abstain from betting on a tie. However odds are significantlly better – nine to one vs. eight to 1)

Played properly, baccarat presents relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually a predictor of future results. Keeping track of previous results on a chart is for sure a complete waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and probably most successful tactic is the 1-3-two-six scheme. This process is employed to amplify wins and controlling risk.

Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. In other words that you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
