Punto Banco Rules and Strategy

Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are worth their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the total of the 2 cards, however the first number is dropped. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of one (5 plus six equals eleven; drop the 1st ‘one’).
A third card may be dealt using the rules below:
- If the gambler or house gets a score of 8 or 9, the two players stay.
- If the gambler has less than 5, he hits. Players holds otherwise.
- If the player holds, the bank hits on a total less than five. If the player hits, a chart is used to decide if the house stands or hits.
Punto Banco Odds
The better of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (equal money minus a five percent commission. Commission are recorded and paid off once you leave the table so make sure you have cash around just before you depart). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie normally pays eight to one but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 versus 8:1)
Gambled on correctly punto banco gives generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Banque Strategy
As with all games baccarat banque has a few established misconceptions. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future events. Recording past outcomes on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.
The most accepted and probably the most accomplished method is the one-three-two-six plan. This method is used to maximize profits and minimizing risk.
Begin by betting one unit. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a total of three dollars on the second bet. If you win you will hold 6 on the game table, remove 4 so you are left with two on the third bet. If you succeed on the 3rd wager, deposit 2 to the 4 on the game table for a total of six on the 4th round.
If you do not win on the initial wager, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the 1st 2 with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And wins on the initial three with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning all four bets leaves you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you are able to lose the 2nd wager 5 instances for each successful streak of four rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
