Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are valued at face value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they just depict the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for any hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of seven … 5 results in a tally of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt depending on the foll. practices:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of eight or 9, both gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart might be used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning stakes on the banker pay at nineteen to 20 (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure to have cash remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie typically pay eight to one and on occasion nine to one. (This is a terrible gamble as ties happen less than one every 10 hands. be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are certainly better – nine to one versus 8 to 1)

When played properly, baccarat offers relatively good odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some common misconceptions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future happenings. Monitoring of previous results on a chart is simply a waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-three-two-6 scheme. This technique is deployed to magnify earnings and reducing risk.

commence by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a value of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
